      • ADHD may also have additional problems, such as sleep and anxiety disorders.
      • Other factors that have been suggested as potentially having a role in ADHD include: being born prematurely (before the 37th week of pregnancy)having a low birthweight-smoking, alcohol or drug abuse during pregnancy
    • Autism
      • Symptoms are present before three years of age
      • More boys are diagnosed with the condition than girls
      • Speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, educational support, plus a number of other interventions are available to help children and parents.
      • Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is the name for a range of similar conditions, including Asperger syndrome, that affect a person's social interaction, communication, interests and behaviour.
