    • They pass out into the gut, where they catalyse the breakdown of food molecules.
    • protease; proteins -> amino acids.. STOMACH, PANCREAS, SMALL INTESTINE
      • Amylase; starch -> sugars.. SALIVARY GLANDS, PANCREAS, SMALL INTENSTINE
      • Lipase;  lipids -> fatty acids + glycerol.. PANCREAS, SMALL INTESTINE
        • Amylase is an example of a carbohydrase. Lipids are fats and oils
