  • The Trinity
    • The Trinity is the belief that God is one but in three persons.
      • The components of the Trinity are: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
        • Christians believe that all 3 parts are co-equal and co-eternal.
        • Christians believe that the Trinity helps them to understand the oneness of God and all the qualities he has.
        • The Father: created the Earth and Heavens.
          • The Son: the saviour of the world
            • The Holy Spirit: an invisible power that guides, helps and inspires people.
    • Mathew 3:13-17 speaks about how Jesus came to John to be baptized.
      • Jesus then gets baptised.
        • Then the spirit from heaven descends on Jesus.
          • A voice then comes from the Father and says, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.”
