Limitations and errors that can occur during titration?

When doing titration of ammonia with sulphuric acid or ammonia with nitric acid what are the limitations and errors that can occur when doing the experiment?? Any help appreciated!! :)

  • Depending on the indicator used, it is hard to get the exact point of neutralisation - might over shoot.
  • Might miss read on the scale - looking at it at an odd angle.
  • Not filling up the tap of the burette

you can also mention paralax. this is to do with human error. if you try to take measurements like vertically you are more likely to rake incorrect measurements than if you were to take the measurements looking horizontally and taking measurements.
