What happened at the Colloquy of Murburg?
Philip of Hesse brought together Luther and Zwingli in Hesse - meeting was a disaster. The failure of a evangelical alliance coincided with his failure to carry all Switzerland with him.

What was the Aftermath of Colloquy of Marburg?
Zwingli's violent propaganda for action against the catholic cantons resulted at length in war and at Kappel in 1531, the forest cantons destroyed forces of Zurich. This battle had Zwingli killed.

Significance of Zwingli's reformation
Zwingli's reformation was significant because calvinists had adapted its reforms of the church, though there was no common ground made initially between Luther and Zwingli.

Other Beliefs of Zwingli
Singlie Predestination. Infant Baptism. Believed that transubstantiation was not true (hence quarrel with Luther). The council of Trent accepted Adiaphoras which Zwingli did not.

The Swiss Brethren
1524. Attacks on Zwingli because his approach to reform was "too slow and too conservative". Led by Grebel+Hubmaier+Mantz. The 3 Felt that Zwingli was not following scripture and condemned him as false prophet as he opposed anabaptism.

What happened at the Swiss Brethren?
Attacks on churches. Convinced people to stop paying tithes. The council got involved and demanded punishment of the swiss brethren. The remaining swiss brethren scattered to the mountain areas where they continued to attract supporters.
