Describe the spartacist rebellion:
Led by communists Rosa Luxembourg and Karl Liebknecht who wanted a Russian-style communist government. Rebelled in Berlin 1919. Freikorps ordered by government to arrest and kill the spartacists

Describe the Kapp Putsch:
Rebellion to overthrow the government in 1920. Freikorps refused to attack as they believed in the cause. Germans went on strike and therefore the revolution could not happen.
