Explain convectional rainfall.
When the Earth's surface is heated, the hot air rises slowly. It rises and begins to cool and condensate. More rising and cooling causes lots of condensation to occur and rain is formed.

Explain frontal rainfall.
When two air masses meet, they form a front. Cold air is denser than warm air, so forces the warm air to rise as it pushes forward along the ground. The warmer air cools and water vapour in the air condenses to form clouds. Further forcing of air up
