What is the purpose of having an audience?
The purpose of having an audience allows them to get together in to one place.

What is Fragmented audience?
Fragmented audience is known as the division of audiences into a smaller group due to a variety of media outlets. So for example: Newspapers and Magazines - you can now view the hard copy and online version (sometimes free).

Fragmented audience can be a good benefit in media these days, why is that?
Fragmented audience uses good benefits which is to reduce costs, widespread audience - also they would want either for a newspaper to be read by paper or online, they have decisions to make.

Why do institutions continue to make money?
There are different reasons why institutions continue to make money, this is because: Nothing is always free, free apps always have adverts, unless you pay to remove adverts, newspapers are now taking up less copies and switching to online.

What is a Mass Audience?
Mass audience is message that is being created by a person or group of people, sent through a transmitting device to a large audience or market. However in mass audience - it is general business term describing the largest group of cosumers.

What is Niche Audience?
Niche audience is a much smaller but very unfluenced. A niche audinece is a small, select group of people very unique technique.

What is Target Audience?
A target audience is split down in to different sector groups, including: Primary audience, secondary audience, invidual and groups.

What is Passive Audience?
Passive audience is an audience that does not interact with the product and audience accepts the messages given in the product.

What is Hypodermic Needle Theory?
An Hypodermic needle theory is known as hypodermic-syringe model of communications and referred to as the magic bullet theory.

What are the uses of Gratification Theory?
The uses of gratification theory is known as the popular approach to understanding mass communication. The theory places more focus on the consumer, or audience instead of the actual message.

What is Active Audience?
Active audience which interacts with the product, questions what they are consuming and why they have chosen to consume that product.
