Hydraulic Action (Side of cliff)
Cliff has spaces full of air. Water goes into gaps and compresses (squash) air causing rocks to break apart by exploding

Abrasion (Side of cliff)
The sediment is hurled at the cliffs, wearing it away

Solution (In water)
Water s acidic because if salt in it causing a chemical reaction, dissolving the rock

Attrition (In water)
Loose sediment is swirled in the water colliding with eachother, wearing it down unitl it is smooth, rounder and in smaller pieces

What is erosion?
Rocks/material break away from the cliff causing it to change the shape of the coast because of waves crashing, creating sediment
