What is a Gantt Chart
A business process modelling tool. They are used to show project timetables and schedules.
2 of 14
What is a Flow Chart
A business processing modelling tool. They use lines and symbols to indicate the flow of data or sequence of operations.

1. Test Harness 2. Volume Testing 3. Scalability Testing 4. Prototyping 5. Multiplatform Testing 6. Simulated Environments 7. Regression Testing
7 of 14
What is a test harness
Collection of software and test data configured to perform specific tests on a module of a program by running it under different conditions, comparing actual outputs with expected outputs.
8 of 14
What is volume testing
Tests that the new system works with large volumes of data.
9 of 14
What is scalability testing
Tests that a new system will still perform as required even if the system has to deal with an increased workload.
10 of 14
What is prototyping
Producing a scaled-down version of the software which is used to show how the new system will work.
11 of 14
What is multiplatform testing
Ensures that new software can be used with a variety of hardware specifications and operating systems.
12 of 14
What is simulated environments
Various inputs and outputs can be used to test software in as realistic environment as possible.
13 of 14
What is regression testing
Type of software testing that seeks to uncover new software bugs, or regressions,, in existing functional and non functional areas of a system after chnages have been made.
