When was the battle of Botsworth and Why did H7 date his reign before it ?
BOB= AUG 22nd 1485 , H7 dates his reign 21st so that his opponents could be retreated as traitors giving him rights to their land/possessions

Many claimed he lacked a strong claim due to it coming from his mother who descended from john of gaunts and his mistress

He had the ability to gain patronage from european powers, by magaret of B , Max I + James IV who's cosuin he married , later starting the cornish rebellion
