Significant Fall
The main character must have a high role in society for their fall to be significant

Weakness or the characters fatal flaw causing their fall

Over reaching one's social position may contribute to their fall too

Peripeteia
The resolution to the tragedy is the reversal of the main characters role e.g. Death, or being brought down in their social status

Anagnorisis
The resolution to the tragedy is also the recognition of their fate. E.g. when Othello kills Desdemona and realises it was all a lie.
