The checking that data has been copied correctly from one medium to another (Double entry of data, Proof reading)

WHY AND HOW TO REDUCE ERRORS:
Better to capture data automatically using OMR, bar codingand character recognition rather than typing. (Use as many verification and validation method possible & allow a user to check details and confirm they are correct)

All factual info should be checked to make sure it is correct

SPELLCHECKING:
Use the feature provided to make sure all spellings are correct.

GRAMMAR CHECKING:
Use the grammar checking feature to make sure there are no grammar once.

DUPLICATION OF CONTENT:
A common mistake is saying the same thing twice / proof reading will spot this.
