An actor/entertainer who realises a role in a performance in front of an audience

What is an Understudy?
An actor who studies another's roles so they can take over if/when it's needed

What is the lighting designer?
Responsible for designing the lighting and effects for a performance

What is the sound designer?
Responsible for designing the sound required for a performance, including score, intro/outro music and specific effects

What is the set designer?
Responsible for he design of the set, work close with the director and other designers

What is the costume designer?
The person who designs the costumes for a performance

What is the puppet designer?
The person who designs the puppets for the performance

What the technician?
The person who works backstage either setting up technical equipment such as microphones or rigging lights and operating them in the performance

What is the director?
The director is in charge of the artistic elements of a production. They will have the initial creative idea for a production and work with other members to realise these idea's in the performance

What is the stage manager?
They are in charge of all aspects backstage, including before, during and after the show. They make sure props are found/made, scene changes are smooth and are in charge of the rehearsal schedule

Responsible for and manages front-of-house team who deal with the audience during a production
