The no-self of inanimate objects
Everything is linked through cause and effect. Everything arises through causes/conditions ("Conditioned existence"). Nothing exists without a series of conditions, this is called dependent origination or pariccasamuppada in pali.

Example of subtle level
H2O-'water' does not exist in itself, it is reliant upon the combination of hydrogen and oxygen. If we separate the hydrogen from the oxygen, there will be no water. Therefore, everything in the world is interconnected, nothing is completely separate
5 of 6
The no-self of persons
We have no intrinsic identity. What we call a person is a combination of every changing physical and mental energies which can be divided into 5 groups called the 5 Aggregates/Skandhas/Khandas. Together they constitute a person.
