Core body temperature runs on a cycle of 24 hours and is lowest at about 4:30 am and is highest at about 6:00 pm. there is a dip in body temperature just after lunch which has nothing to do with the fact that we have just eaten, afternoon siesta.

Giesbrecht lowered temperature reduces performance and Hord and Thompson found no link between the two
