What is burden of proof?
The obligation to prove the defendant committed the crime,

The level to which the evidence must be proved to gain a conviction.

What are the three tracks?
Small track, Fast track and multi-track.

What are small claims?
Claims for up to £10,000. Dealt with by a district judge at a county court.

What are fast track claims?
Claims for up to £25,000 heard by a district judge at the county court.
5 of 6
What are multi track claims?
Those cases that do not fit into the other two claims (over £25,000) heard by a circuit judge at a high court.
