why does the multi store model lack validity ?
1. memory research usually relates to semantic memory, so it is relevant to some everyday memory activities such as remembering phone numbers, but not to all aspects of memory. 2. involved 18-21= different memory and average intellegence
2 of 3
what case study goes against the multi store model?
STM & LTM operate in a single uniform fashion. ( not true) KF suffered from brain damage which resulted in difficulty dealing with verbal info in STM but a normal ability to process visual info. suggests STM is not a single store.
