On the morning of the 14th February, 1929, around 10:30am, the lookouts notiied the gun man that 'Bugs' Moran was there. The gunmetn climbed into polic car in uniform to the garage and climbed out. They garage people thought it was a polic raid

and they peacefully did as they were told. They lined up facing the wall and allowed the gunmen to remove weapons. They then open fired and they died. Policeman walked out with the other two gunmen pretending they had staged a raid.
