How does Hosseini use language to convey the attack itself?
'Charged' - verb choice, sounds like a bull, bulls create damage and very powerful. 'Hurled' - not aimed exactly, perhaps not planned out. Immediate reaction. 'Yepled' - refering to animals again, this time more innocent, puppy or lamb.

How does Hosseini use language to convery the attack itself?
'Bit on my fist, shut my eyes' - Amir doesn't want to see what is happening in almost an 'if I can't see them, they can't see me'. 'It was the look of a lamb' - mentally shut down. Lamb to slaughter, innocence and purity, gentle but suffering.
