What are the three main roles of the kidney?
Remove urea from the blood; Control salt levels; Control water content

Active transport

Where are waste products sent?
Out of the nephron, into the ureter and into the bladder as urine

What is ADH and what does it do?
Anti-Diuretic hormone (ADH) makes the nephrons more permeable when more water is needed, so more water is reabsorbed back into the blood
