What's a strato volcano?
It's a conical volcano built up by many layers (strata) of hardened lava, tephra, pumice and ash. Are characterized by a steep profile with a summit crater and periodic intervals of explosive eruptions and effusive eruptions

What's a shield volcano?
composed almost entirely of fluid lava flows. It is named for its low profile. This is caused by the highly fluid (low viscosity) lava erupted, which travels farther than lava erupted from a stratovolcano which slowly builds up in layers overtime

What's a hotspot volcano?
A hotspot volcano forms away from plate boundaries. They form chains of islands such as Hawaii as the magma is forced through the oceanic plate by convection currents to form an island but overtime new volcanos are formed due to plates moving
