Cerebral Hemispheres (Left & Right Sides)
Each hemisphere contains 3 areas; sensory areas which recieve nerve impulses from sense organs; Motor areas which sed impulses to muscles and association areas which links the two with stored memories from the past and learned skills.

Cerebellum
Controls all voluntary movements (e.g. Walking, Cycling, Chewing, Balence and Muscle tone. Walking requires the co-ordination of 27 muscles

Medulla
Part of the brain stem- and manages the heart rate, blood pressure and all other processes which are vital to life.

Pituitary Gland
Master gland which secretes FSH and affects growth and release of hormones from the ovaries

Hypothalamus
Involved in Homeostasis like maintaining body temperature and fluid balence. It can affect the Pituitary Gland
