What is a Test Harness?
A collection of software and test data configured to perform specific tests on a program by running it under different conditions; comparing actual outputs, with expected ouputs

What is Volume Testing?
It tests that the new system works with large volumes of data

What is Scalability Testing?
Tests that a new system will still perform as required even if it has to deal with increased workload

What is Prototyping?
Producing a scaled-down simple version of the software which is used to show how the new system will work.

What is Multiplatform testing?
It ensures that software can be used with a variety of hardware specifications and operating systems

Various inputs and outputs that can be used to test software in as realistic as environment as possible
