Capitalism
An economic system in which all or most of the means of production and distribution are privately onwned and operated in a relatively competitive environment.

A state of political tension and military rivalry between nations that stops short of full scal war. Specifically, the US and USSR.

The system or policy in which a country maintains foreign colonies

Promoting the culture of one society into another. e.g Tea to India

Describes the way in which rich countries dominate the economy of poorer countries through economic imperialism rather than political control.

A state in which there are two main superpowers. i.e the US and USSR in the cold war.

A state in which there are several main superpowers. Many predict that this is the future with the rise of the BRICs
