An acute stressor.

He got 13,000 people (who didn't have heart disease) to complete a 10 question anger scale.

6 years after the test, peole who scored high were 2 and half time more likey to have a heart attack. People who scored 'moderately' were 35% more likey. 256 people actually had heart attacks.

Anger may lead to cardiovascular disorders, and people who are 'angry' may benefit from anger management.

Other factors weren't taken into account, questionnaries-participents may not remember stressful events correctly, stress may lead to unhealthy behaviour which lead to health problems.
