Designed to be used by users feet. Single Stompbox: 1 switch with 1-3 pentiometers (control effect, gain or tone of something). Complex stombox: multiple swithes

What is a Modeling Pedal?
Stimulates the sound of other things. e.g Boss- Acoustic Stimulator: electric guitar sound like acoustic. Tech 21- Sans Amp: allows you to plug into a PA system but sound like your playing through an amp

Which effects are best to be used at the Start, Middle and End of a signal?
Start: Wah and Overdrive. Middle: Compression. End: Time based units (and maybe noise gate)
