newspapers, magazines, the internet, databases and historical records

What are some pros of secondary data?
1. Easier to get hold of. 2.May be free of charge. 3.A lot of the work has already been done - making the investigation quicker.4. You can use bigger data sets than you could collect on your own

What are some cons of secondary data?
1. It is often processed (not in the format you want).2. may not represent the thing you want to research exactly (e.g. might be out of date or wrong geographical region) 3. It is hard to know how accurate the data is. 4. Bias
