HideShow resource information
what is inside the nucleus of an atom?
Protons- which are positivly charged and neutrons which are neutral
1 of 8
how much mass does a proton, electron and neutron have?
proton = 1 electron = 0 (1/2000) neutron= -1
2 of 8
what happens when two insulating materials rub together?
electrons get scraped off and are dumped on one another
3 of 8
If there are two things of the same charge so they attract?
no they repel. opposite charges attract.
4 of 8
The force of two charges that attract what?
get weaker
5 of 8
why does my jumper crackle when i take it off?
becuase electrons are getting scraped off and this leaves static charges on both you and the jumper.
6 of 8
