a person cna build up a charge of static electricity as they mvoe around, if they then touch a door or another object they might feel a shock. this happens because electrons move to 'cancel out' the charge on the person, this is called earthing

one danger is that lightening can damage and kill living things. another danger is it can cause electric shocks. a lastd anger is aeroplanes can explode when being refuelled due to static electricity causing a spark which could be ignited
