Made up of ciliated epithelial cells and goblet cells (cells which expel mucous), cilia which rhythmically together (removes dust and mucous to be expelled)
2 of 7
Cartilage
Connective tissue, made up of chondrocyte cells and fibres of collagen and elastin (in the extracellular matrix), flexible and firm, found in ear nose and end of bones (prevents bones from rubbing and damaging)

Muscle
Moves bones and parts of the body, made up of muscle fibres, skeletal muscle fibres (the fibres attached to the bone, contain myofibrils which are contractile proteins)

Epidermis
Surface of plants, waxy cuticles to stop water loss, stomata are also present in the epidermis
