What is Domestic Labour?
Roles, responsibilities and work tasks within the household.

Having the responsibility for paid work and domestic tasks.

Joint/integrated conjugal roles?
Few divisions between male and female partner roles. Tend to share domestic tasks e.g. childcare/decision making.

Clear division and seperation between male and female roles.

Self-contained, self-reliant and home centred family, seperated from extended kin, neighbours and community.
