De-individuation - Research Evidence (Zimbardo)
Female students told to deliver shocks. Condition 1 - De-individuated, condition 2 - Individuated. De-individuated group have twice as many shocks.

De-individuation - Research Evidence (Mann- baiting crowd)
Analysed 21 suicide incidents in USA where crowd had gathered and baiting had occurred. Critical factors: Night time, large crowd, some distance away. These features led to de-individuation which encouraged antisocial behaviour.
