List 4 elements to consider when designing a floor / traffic route
Should be of sound construction, Adequate Strength & Stability, It should be taken into account the loads placed on them & the traffic passing over them. Floors should not be overloaded.

What should be done if the surface of a floor or traffic route is likely to get wet or be subject to spillages?
A slip-resistant coating should be applied where necessary. Floors near to machinery which could cause injury if fallen against should be slip-resistant & kept free from slippery substances or loose materials.

Gritting, Snow Clearing & Closure of some routes

Slopes should not be steeper than necessary, moderate & steep slopes and ramps for disabilities should have a secure handrail, holes & bumps & uneven areas caused by wear & tear should be made good
