open the bonnet, identify where you would check the engine coolant level & tell me how you would check the engine has the correct level.
identify coolant tank & check min/max markings. If coolant below min mark, more needs to be added. to do this unscrew cap & pour in coolant until max mark reach.

if steering becomes heavy, may be faulty. before journey (2 checks made). 1) gentle pressure on steering wheel. maintained whilst engine started, should result in slight but noticeable movement as system begins to operate.
