Hotel
A hotel is an establishment that provides lodging on a short term basis. A hotel must have a minimum of 6 bedrooms with at least 3 private bathrooms. E.g. Ibis/ Holiday Inn/ Premier inn.

A lodge is a house or hut in the country or in the mountains where people stay on holiday. E.g. Centre parks.

A private home that has been converted for the exclusive use of guest accommodation. Typically includes WiFi/breakfast/ room with en-suit.
