To assess the self efficacy of patients undergoing systematic desensitisation in relation to their snake phobias.
2 of 10

it was a controlled quasi experiment.
3 of 10
What design was used in the study?
A repeated measures design.

High levels of post test self efficacy correlated with levels of handling snakes. Desensitisation enhanced self-efficacy levels, which in turn lead to a belief that pps were able to cope with phobic stimulus of snake.
