?
Average Speed Equation
Average Speed= distance moved / Time taken
1 of 15
Acceleration Equation
Acceleration= change in velocity / time taken
2 of 15
Describe the effects of forces between bodies such as changes in speed
Changes in speed When an object is stationary it has an equal force pushing down and up. The downward force being gravity and the upward force being the surface the object is on. The object is not floating but it is not going into the ground.

Types of forces
Air Resistance, Gravitational and weight
4 of 15
What is an opposite motion force?
Friction
5 of 15
Equation for force
Force= Mass x Acceleration
6 of 15
Equation for weight
Weight= Mass x Gravitational strength (10)
7 of 15
Describe the force acting on falling objects called terminal velocity?
Eventually, the object's weight is balanced by the air resistance. There is no resultant force and the object reaches a steady speed, called the terminal velocity.
8 of 15
Describe the factors affecting vehicle stopping?
Stopping distance is thinking distance and braking distance added together, things that effect this are: The condition of the driver; drugs/ tiredness (thinking distance) How worn the brakes/ tyres are If the weather conditions are poor How heavy the

Momentum Equation
Momentum= mass x velocity
10 of 15
Force Equation
Force= Change in Momentum / Time taken
11 of 15
Newton"s First Law
Balanced forces mean no change in velocity
12 of 15
Newton"s Second Law
A resultant force means acceleration
13 of 15
Newton's Third Law
If an object exerts a force on another object very close than it has the exert opposite force

Equation for moment
Force x perpendicular distance from pivot
