How do you convert a recurring decimal into a fraction?
Name the fraction R. Multiply R by a power of ten to move it past the decimal point by one full repeated lump. Then subtract to get rid of the decimal. Then divide to leave R, and cancel if possible.

Turn the percentage into a decimal, then multiply.
