What are the properties of diamond?
lustrous (sparkly), colourless, four covelent bonds, really hard, covelent bonds take a lot of energy to break (high melting point), doesnt conduct electricity, no free electrons

black and opaque, three covelent bonds, lubricating material, high melting point, bonds need lots of energy to break, delocalised electrons, conduct electricity
