Define Acceleration.
Acceleration is defined as the change of speed over time, caused by net force acting. An object is accelerating if it is changing its velocity (the rate at which an object changes position)

An unbalanced force will change an object's state of motion by producing acceleration. The force is equal to the product of the mass and acceleration of the object. Net force= mass x acceleration (F=MA)

For every action (force) on an object there is an equal and opposite reaction by the object upon the agent.

Due to the Earth tilt and spin it appears that objects rise from the East and set in the West. The earth actually revolves around the sun in a clockwise motion the same as all other planets in the solar system.

Mass is a measure of how much matter an object has. While weight is a measure of how strongly gravity pulls on that matter

Light is a form of electromagnetic radiation. Visible light is a narrow range of wavelengths of the electromagnetic spectrum. By measuring the wavelength or frequency of light coming from objects in the universe, we can learn about their nature.

What are the benefits of obtaining information using electromagnetic radiation.
We can obtain information of distant places without having to go there. It is often cheaper than going to the place. can give vital information that can be difficult to get. Multiple opportunities to receive this information as its transmitted a lot.

These techniques are often expensive and require a lot of equipment. We don't know if anything changed the energy or its direction. Can only give us so much information. If miscalculations occur then there are few ways to double check.

Used to gain new knowledge of the universe. Can look for a life sustained planet or one that was in the past.

Expensive for different missions that don't seem to be linked, as if the probes are just a way of satisfying curiosity. A large portion of the Scientists for the space program were retired due to cuts. Ethical and social issues

A galaxy is a gravitational bound body, typically consisting of dark matter, gas, dust and stars. Galaxies can be classified into: Elliptical,, Spiral, Irregular and Dwarf.
