What is opportunity sampling?
Selecting people who are available at time of study. Its the easiest method, and its biased because its part of a small population

What is random sampling?
It is completely random, unbiased yet time-consuming

What is stratified sampling?
Subgroups identified then random. Proportional to all, very time-consuming

What is systematic sampling?
Every nth person is picked, unbiased, not fully unbiased if you don't choose a random nth term

What is volunteer sampling?
Advertising in a newspaper, access to variety, likely to be highly motivated. Might get volunteer bias

What are the 6 ethical issues?
Informed consent, deception, the right to withdraw, protection from physical and physiological harm, confidentiality, privacy
