What do the Beatitudes do for Christians?
They describe how Christians should live if they are to inherit the Kingdom. They are a collection of Jesus' religious & moral teachings. Christians seek happiness for others & in God & the beatitudes help to achieve this.

When couples become legal parents of children whose birth parents cannot or choose not to look after them

A temporary or permanent responsibility taken on for children which is shared with social services

1) Every child has right to have a loving and supportive home 2) Vulnerable children are entitled to love and protection of family

That nothing should be allowed to break the faithful and exclusive bond of marriage. Also outlines the need for forgiveness for those who have sinned

Remarriage after divorce is the same as adultery and it can only be allowed if a partner has been unfaithful

Where the Catholic Church believes the marriage can be dissolved so it should never have happened
