The idea that everything that happens in the world is as a result of something else

If we look far enough back, we will see that the universe must have a first cause such as God

What caused God to exist? - God is eternal so nothing had to cause Him

If we found a watch in a field and saw all the inner-workings, we would assume it had an intellectual creator. Same with the universe, it is very complex so must have a creator

Give 3 reasons why people do not believe in God
Science (evolution and big bang) can explain the existence and complexity of the universe without need for God. Existence of evil & suffering. Unanswered prayer

The idea that God cannot be all powerful and all loving whilst there is still evil in the world

Give a reason why God allows suffering
So we appreciate the good things more. Sometimes suffering is good - e.g. Joseph sold into slavery but then freed all the slaves

Selfish prayers. May go against His plan. Some prayers contradict each other. God acts like a father, giving His children what they need, not want

That it's okay (as long as it's monogamous) and the Bible should be reinterpreted to fit modern life

What do Catholics say about homosexuality?
That homosexual acts are sinful but homosexuals should be supported by the Church

Absolutely no.

That artificially it is wrong (e.g. condom) but natural family planning is good
