The incarnation and Jesus as the Son of God
"The incarnation of the son of God" is used to describe what happened when the second person of the trinity became flesh.

The Crucifixion
Christians believe that Jesus was God in human form. Christians believe that Jesus suffered very much on the cross as a way of paying for all of mankind's sins. By taking on all of this suffering, mankind was freed from punishment.

The resurrection of Jesus is the Christian religious belief that, after being put to death, Jesus rose again from the dead.

The Ascension of Jesus is the belief that He was taken up to Heaven in his resurrected body, 40 days after his resurrection.

Original sin is considered to be the result of the story of Adam and Eve in The Bible. God told them that the only rule was to not eat the fruit from the tree but they did because they were told by the snake that it would make them like God.

Salvation in Christianity, is the saving of the soul from sin and death.

Atonement refers to the forgiving of general sin and original sin in particular through the death and resurrection of Jesus

Jesus is the central figure of Christianity. The Christian Church is founded on Jesus. The things that Christians believe about Jesus are based on the four Gospels of the Bible. These teach you about Jesus' teachings to his followers.

Life after death
Christians believe there is an afterlife. Some believe that heaven is a physical place, where their body goes after death. Others believe that it is their soul that lives on, and that heaven is a state of being united with God.
