they were two italian immigrants and anarchists who were accused of a robbery and murder of two guards. they were arrested and imprisoned then later killed by an electric chair.

moonshine, speakeasies, bootlegging, organised crime and corruption

tariff policy, overproduction, financial speculation, unequal wealth distribution

banks suffered huge losses and 700 closed due to money shortages, prices of goods continued to fall until american economy was destroyed
