Where is the River Tees?
The River Tees is an important river in the North East of England. It's source is high in the Pennie near Cross Fell (height 893m). From there it flows roughly East around 128km to reach the North sea at Middlesbrough.

High Force Waterfall (21m high) is located in the upper course of the River Tees, south-east of Forest-in-Teesdale village.

One Meander is located in Sockburn village the lower course. There are many Meanders throughout the middle and lower course.

Where are the Levées located?
Levées are located at Yarm in the lower course.

Where are oxbow lakes located?
They can be found between Yarm and Middlesbrough in the lower course.
