DENSITY-The most accurate way to calculate the density of any solid, liquid or gas is to divide its mass in kilograms by its volume (length × width × height) in cubic metres.
This is the equation for density Equation: Density = frac{mass}{volume}
1 of 7
All material things are made from atoms. There are just over one hundred different types of atom, called elements. Atoms can join together in millions of different combinations to make all the substances on Earth and beyond.
Atoms are so small you need a very high quality microscope to see them.
2 of 7
what is change of state?
A substance must absorb heat energy so that it can melt or boil. The temperature of the substance does not change during melting, boiling or freezing, even though energy is still being transferred.
3 of 7
What are the 3 particle arangements, in kinetic theory?
SOLID LIQUID GAS
4 of 7
What is a force?
A force can be a push or a pull. For example, when you push open a door you have to apply a force to the door. You also have to apply a force to pull open a drawer.
5 of 7
what is work done messured in?
J = joules
6 of 7
what is acceleration?
Acceleration is the rate at which an object changes its speed. It's calulated using the equation: acceleration = change in speed / time taken.
