What is the product in the Haber Process?
Ammonia
2 of 11
Where do manufacturers get Hydrogen and Nitrogen from?
H - natural gas, N - air

Name one use for the products of the Haber products
Fertiliser

What is meant by DYNAMIC EQUILIBRIUM?
No change can be seen, Reverse and forward reaction happening simultaneously.
5 of 11
What did Haber have to compromise?
Temperature, Needs to be as low as possible for the highest yield. However, too low and there is not enough heat for the activation energy. Pressure, needs the highest possible pressure, too high and...
6 of 11
What happens if the pressure is too high in Haber's reaction?
BOOM!!!
7 of 11
What happens to a reverse reaction when you increase the temperature?
The endothermic reaction is favoured to cool down the reaction.
8 of 11
What happens to a reverse reaction when you decrease the temperature?
When you decrease the temperature the exothermic reaction is favoured to create more heat. This creates a larger yield on the exothermic reaction.
9 of 11
Changing the pressure?
Only effects thoes involving gasses- +Pressure means it moves in the direction of the least molecules to try and reduce it. -Pressure means it moves in the direction of more molecules to try and increase it.
10 of 11
Concentration?
+ the conc of reactants means more products. - the conc of products the reaction reduces the amount of reactants to balance it.
