They should be punished for their crimes but it is also important they are treated appropriately and fairly.

Not a prison sentence but by execution - this is known as capital punishment

It is banned in the European Union, but practised in may countries such as some states in the USA

Why do some Christians believe capital punishment is right?
Because they believe the crime of murder, or taking away a life, is a violation of the will of God, who alone should take life. Therefore they believe that it needs the ultimate punishment.

Its impossible 2 have a completely foolproof conviction&2 execute some1s unfair as its not guaranteed justices done.They refer 2 principles of love your neighbour&enemy which Jesus taught-they believe it's not possible to reconcile with execution

What does the use of capital punishment require? Why would this be unacceptable for many Christians?
Society to employ someone as an executioner-An unacceptable job as it would inevitably involve the taking of a life. They say that God alone should be the judge and that for a human to have the power to take a life's a violation of the created order
