Because they believe the crime of murder, or taking away a life, is a violation of the will of God, who alone should take life. Therefore they believe that it needs the ultimate punishment.

Society to employ someone as an executioner-An unacceptable job as it would inevitably involve the taking of a life. They say that God alone should be the judge and that for a human to have the power to take a life's a violation of the created order
